DIFFERENT TONES
One thing I love about photography in
Pocatello is the variation you can get in tones all in the same city. There are mountains, sage brush, and lava rocks all within easy driving distance. It's easy to find a location that will fit your style.
The time of year plays a big role in what the different locations look like, here are a few examples with the time of year the pictures were taken.

sage in winter
This photograph is from a first look shoot I took in the winter. This is one of my favorite Pocatello photography locations. It doesn't matter the time of year you can always find the beautiful dulled tones of the blue mountains and light green sage brush
summer mountains
Pocatello's mink creek trails are perfect if you love a green mountain backdrop. The beautiful pines are easy to access, and in early summer have beautiful wildflowers.
sage in fall
The sunflowers in fall are so beautiful in Pocatello. It's the best time to get beautiful flowers that won't over power the people in the pictures, but add a very fun and special touch to your photographs.
